Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 2026
ICHRA Savings is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Built-in accessibility tools
Every page includes an accessibility toolbar (the person icon at the bottom-left of the screen). It lets you, without any plugin:
- Larger text — increase text size in steps.
- High contrast — boost contrast for readability.
- Readable font — switch to the Atkinson Hyperlegible typeface, designed for low vision.
- Highlight links — underline and emphasize all links.
- Big cursor — enlarge the mouse pointer.
- Pause motion — stop non-essential animation and transitions.
Your preferences are saved on your device. We also respect your operating-system "reduce motion" setting automatically.
Additional measures
- Semantic HTML landmarks, headings, and a "skip to main content" link.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, forms, and the FAQ accordions.
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Color contrast chosen to meet AA for text and interactive elements.
- Descriptive labels and ARIA where native semantics are insufficient.
